Nonprofit 101: What does it mean to work for a nonprofit organization? What are the basics of nonprofit administration? This session will provide participants with a foundation of understanding about how nonprofits operate through discussion about boards, staff, and volunteers, public accountability, and leadership.
About the Facilitators: Quentin Collins is an attorney with Charitable Allies, a 501(c)(3) low-bono legal aid law firm located on Indianapolis’ northwest side. Quentin most commonly assists nonprofits with transactional matters and assists with litigation matters, as needed. Quentin graduated from Indiana University’s Robert H. Morgan is a lawyer, lobbyist, and nonprofit consultant passionate about helping others support their communities. She received her law degree and masters degree from Indiana University with certificates in nonprofit management, international law, and civil and human rights law. Morgan has worked in the nonprofit sector for over a decade as a program manager, fundraiser, volunteer, lobbyist, director, fundraiser, founder, consultant, lawyer, and board member.
